Payment Procedure | Back to Top
A check or money order for the application fee and
tuition deposit must
accompany all applications; |
Make
checks payable to "Center for Talent Development"; |
All applications
(including financial aid applicants) must include a $250
deposit ($50 nonrefundable application fee plus $200 tuition
deposit); |
All applications postmarked after
May 15, 2008 must include two checks: a $300 check for the
application fee, late fee, and tuition deposit; and an
additional check for the remaining tuition balance (total
tuition fee minus $200); |
The deadline for payment of the fee balance is June 2nd. Students with an outstanding balance after the deadline may lose their place in the program;
Applications postmarked after May 15th must also
include a $50 late fee; |
Payment plans for students not receiving financial aid carry
additional charges. |
*International Applicants are required to pay the $100 international application fee instead of the $50 application required of domestic applicants. Therefore, an international applicant must send a check for $300 with the application ($100 application fee + $200 tuition deposit). To download the International Application Form click here. |

Financial Aid | Back to Top
financial aid application is available. The Center for Talent Development offers a limited amount of need-based financial aid. Students, who live in a foster home or federally subsidized housing projects, or whose families receive public aid, are also eligible for financial aid. The Summer Program application must be accompanied by:
A $250 deposit
(which includes the $50 non-refundable application fee
and the $200 tuition deposit) |
A
completed financial aid application; |
A
written Statement of Need describing in detail the nature of
the financial need for the student; and |
A
copy of the current year's tax return. |
Decisions on financial aid applications are only made once a complete Financial Aid Application and a complete Application for Admission are received. Students seeking financial aid are encouraged to apply early, as aid money is limited. Families applying for aid may also be eligible for a payment plan.
An invoice reflecting the amount of financial aid granted with the balance due will be sent with the admissions decision or within three weeks of the financial aid request. Final payment must be received before the start of the session.
Payment | Back to Top
A five month payment plan is available.
The
first payment of the plan is due when the applicant is
notified of acceptance into the summer program. |
Subsequent payments are due on the 30th of each month
following the applicant’s acceptance. |
Payments must be paid with
check or money order. |
Families who apply for and
receive financial aid and who choose the payment plan option
will not be assessed the $50 service charge. |
