Unleash your academic potential and get a head start on your college education through Equinox and Spectrum, two pre-college programs that will take place this summer at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Both programs are specifically designed for academically talented students who are not afraid to show what they know and who enjoy serious educational experiences.

The programs get underway June 29th-July 18, 2008, on the Case campus, where you will appreciate the friendliness of a close-knit academic community, while enjoying the amenities of a big city.

You will intensively study one subject during the three-week program. Classes meet five hours a day, five days a week, and require 2-4 hours of homework a night. Summer at Case allots time for group and self-directed activities. Have fun, learn something unusual yet cool, plus earn high school credit. It is never too early to plan for success. All courses are taught at the honors level. Coursework also prepares you to take select Advanced Placement exams.

Residential and Commuter Program

Equinox is a residential and commuter program that offers a challenging mix of coursework interwoven with social and cultural activities. It is open to students in grades 9 to 12.

Choose one of the honors-level courses that serves your interests and academic strengths.

Spectrum is a program for students who have completed grades 7, 8, or 9. Spectrum encourages students’ passion for learning and discovery through hands-on programs, enriching coursework, and social and cultural activities.
